What colors absorb most light?
Black objects absorb all the light shined on them. There is no reflected light, so we see black (the absence of color). If all of the light is reflected, we see all the wavelengths, which means we see white light.
the color strips. Obviously the black strip absorbed the most. But the red, blue, and green ones did not absorb much. Interestingly, the dark gray and purple ones absorbed absorbed more than I would imagine.
Colour of objects
The colours we see are the wavelengths that are reflected or transmitted. For example, a red shirt looks red because the dye molecules in the fabric have absorbed the wavelengths of light from the violet/blue end of the spectrum. Red light is the only light that is reflected from the shirt.
That is, blue paper can absorb both red and green primary colors of light (recall that yellow light is a mixture of red and green light). So red and green light shine on the paper; and both the red and the green light are subtracted.
Black absorbs all colors; white absorbs none; blue absorbs red. 2. How the light source works. Natural light (sunlight) changes throughout the day and is affected by a room's location.

While calmer colors like green and blue are typically considered serene and soothing, red is the hottest and most emotional color. This intense color has more psychological and emotional connections than any other color in the spectrum. Red is associated with passion, love, power, confidence, and anger.
Pure white, being the most reflective color, is at the other end of the scale at 100 because it doesn't absorb light or warmth. Colors that fall below 50 on the LRV scale will absorb more light than they reflect.
Blue light has a higher frequency and carries more energy than red light. The wavelengths of light waves are very, very short, just a few 1/100,000ths of an inch.
Answer and Explanation: The color white reflects sunlight best because white does not absorb any light that hits it, instead reflecting it all back.
What color is best to repel sunlight?
Dark or bright colors
Darker colors absorb more UV than lighter colors like whites and pastels. This means the UV rays are less likely to reach your skin. But bright colors such as red can also absorb UV rays. The more vivid the color, the greater the protection—a bright yellow shirt is more protective than a pale one.
